My cousin Lynne and I have been very close throughout childhood (we grew up together) and she's the one that actually inspired ME to start baking. She has a knack for choosing difficult recipes and elaborate cupcake decorating.
She definitely outdid herself with this delicious cake. She knows Ferrero Rocher is one of my favourite chocolates.
"The cake is like a large ferrero rocher chocolate" she said. She wasn't kidding - this is a multilayer cake with nutella buttercream icing, the cake itself is made of ground hazelnuts (which she ground up herself!), a layer of nutella buttercream and crushed wafers as well as hazelnuts. The outer edge was decorated with ferrero rocher chocolates.
The cake was absolute heaven, and the perfect ending to an evening with the family <3
