Eating Out: Japango Sushi & Noodle House, Toronto, ON

Since my trip to Japan, I've been looking for the perfect sushi in Toronto. Japango comes quite close and is much better than the quality of sushi you would normally get at all you can eat and a la carte locations. Their signature roll was by far the most delicious! The fish is fresh (no fishy smell, unlike other places).

Japango is a sushi and noodle house situated in the heart of downtown Toronto. It's a restaurant that seats very few and line-ups are often out the door. The decor is absolutely adorable - they have daruma and lucky cats lining the walls and a special "chopsticks" club if you eat there frequently enough. It is pricey but they have some sushi combos that make it a little bit more affordable.

My friend and I watched the documentary "Jiro Dreams of Sushi", a documentary and look at 85-year-old Jiro Ono who may arguably be the world's greatest sushi chef.  Inspired by the documentary we went to Japango knowing we would have good food to try.
